Funeral tomorrow of Inishowen man killed in crash

THE funeral will take place tomorrow of an Inishowen man killed in a fatal accident in County Cavan.

Fred Tully, described by his pals as a “gentle soul”, died in a crash involving a motorcycle in Corlough at about 3pm on Saturday afternoon.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Funeral Mass for Mr Tully of Pound Street, Carndonagh, will be said in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Carndonagh, tomorrow at 11am.

Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Paying tribute to Fred, his friends at The Glen Bar, Carndonagh, said, “We are truly devastated to hear of the loss of our friend Freddie Tully, a gentle soul with such a kind heart.

“We’ll miss your happy face coming through the door, you made those quiet evenings fly in. Our thoughts are with his mum Pat and sister Ann.”
