The funeral takes place tomorrow of Arranmore piper Alec Browne who died suddenly at a contest last weekend.
Funeral mass for Mr Browne will be held at 12 noon in St Crone’s Church, Arranmore.
The Mass can be viewed on the St Crone’s Church Arranmore YouTube channel.
Mr Browne, who was a member of the National Executive of Pipe Bands and was an instructor with Raphoe Ulster Scots, died suddenly in Newtownards on July 22.
Raphoe Ulster Scots Pipe Band have remembered Mr Browne as the “heart and soul of our band”.
“We are completely heartbroken to have lost our dear friend Alec Browne today at the competition in Newtownards – you were the heart and soul of our band.
You kept us laughing at your antics, you had a heart of gold, and were a great friend to everyone,” a post said.
