LETTERKENNY man Tommy Connors will be laid to rest this morning following his tragic passing last week.

Mr Connors, of Neil T Blaney Road, lost his life in a weather-related incident in the town on Friday afternoon.

The incident took place at a domestic property during Storm Amy.

A very well-known and popular member of the community, Mr Connors’ passing has prompted deep sadness among his family and many friends. His death comes less than three months after his mother, Martina, died in July.

Mr Connors’ requiem Mass will take place in St Eunan’s Cathedral this morning at 11am, followed by interment in Leck Cemetery. Meanwhile, those shocked by his sudden passing have taken to social media to share tributes. The Donegal Travellers Project extended their deepest sympathies to the Connors family.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time,” they said. Letterkenny CDP also offered their condolences, joining in expressing their sympathies to the grieving family.
