THE FUNERAL of the young man killed in a car crash near Barnesmore Gap on Monday night is to take place on Thursday.
The man has been named locally as John Gallagher of Croaghlin, Killybegs who died when the van he was driving crashed into a vacant house at Cashelnavene near Ballybofey.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or were in the area between 10.30 pm and 11.30 pm on Monday to contact Letterkenny Garda Station on 074 9167100.

Mr Gallagher’s funeral will take place at St Mary’s Church, Killybegs at 11 am on Thursday with burial in the local cemetery.
