A FUNDRAISING ‘Gig for Gaza’ will take place tomorrow night in An Grianán Theatre, Letterkenny.
Organised by Fadl Mustapha, a Palestinian who has been living in Letterkenny for the past 19 years, the event aims to raise awareness while raising funds for the people of Gaza.
Speaking to the Donegal News, Mr Mustapha said the situation in Gaza is “dire”.
“People are starving in Gaza and the blockade that has been implemented by the Israeli army is not allowing aid and is not allowing food to come in.
“This event is all about fundraising and raising money to give to charity to help Palestinians by providing aid, providing medicine and providing food to the people in Gaza.
“It is raising awareness and raising funds to help our brothers and sisters in Gaza,” he said.
The event will see a mix of musicians, performers, local talent and bands stand together in solidarity, while entertaining the audience.
With raffles and auctions also taking place on the night, it is an event not to be missed.
Tickets are €15 and can be purchased on https://angrianan.com or at the door on the night.
