This scale of a fundraiser is a first for Kilcar Pipe Band, in order to raise much needed funds for equipment and uniforms due to the rising numbers of young people joining the band.

Established in 1934 the bands future certainly looks bright with the introduction of six new recruits on St Patrick’s weekend and more hoping to join in the near future.

Rehearsals have been on going over the last few weeks, with a fierce rivalry developing between the Stars. Rumour has it that Kilcar’s answer to Matthew Kelly has been amazed at the quality of the acts.
