A fundraising dance to help the victims of the Inishhowen floods will take place next week.
The dance, in the Plaza Buncrana, on Thursday, September 7, is being organised by the manager of Robert Mizzell and the Country Kings, Sharon Kelly.
She said: “After seeing the devastating loss suffered by the people in Inishowen, Robert and his fellow amigo Jimmy Buckley have joined forces to come together and put on a fundraising dance in the Plaza Buncrana.”
Admission will be €15 on the door and it will be three hours of dancing with headliners Robert and Jimmy.
“They will be joined on the night by Gary Gamble, Paul McCahill, Kieran McAree, Grainne Gavigan and Keelan, all of which are Donegal artists. They will be backed by Robert Mizzell’s band ‘The Country Kings’ and all our artists and band members are giving their time and services free of charge to enable us to make as much as possible for the Irish Red Cross branch in Inishowen,” added Sharon.
