Pictured are Marg Everett, Hazel Russell and Teri Russell on behalf of the Swilly Sisters’ Shed presenting €1.370, the proceeds of the group’s recent Swim in Pink fundraiser to Maeve Fegan of the National Breast Care Institute, Galway.

Back in October swimmers and dippers donned their best pink swimming outfits and took to the cold waters of Rathmullan beach for the annual charity event.
It was a brilliant day of fun as members of the local community did their bit for Breast Care.
The Swilly Sisters’ Shed group have extended a huge thanks to everyone who participated, donated and made the event such a great success for a very deserving charity.

Meanwhile the group’s last get-together before the Christmas break was on Monday last with an amazing Silk Painting Workshop with Karen O’Kane of Koko Designs, Ramelton.
It was a great night of fun, creativity and laughter, with lots of festive cheer to finish off 2025, while the scrabble and book clubs are ongoing.
Seasons greetings are extended to all the group’s members and huge thanks to everyone who has supported the Swilly Sisters’ Shed in 2025 as they look forward to a prosperous new year.
