The Bluestacks Way in Donegal is to benefit from €10,000 in funding announced today as part of the upgrade of a host of walking and hiking trails across rural Ireland.
Under the Government’s Walks Scheme, over €408,000 will be provided to resurface, re-route and improve outdoor trails around Ireland to benefit local communities, tourists, walkers and hikers alike.
The funding was announced by Minister Heather Humphreys with the investment designed to open up our countryside to visitors and make Ireland a world class destination for adventure tourism.
The allocation for the Bluestacks Way will be used for the upgrade of the Binbane Bog Road.
