Friel named as Milford Player of the Year for 2024

Milford GAA club held their adult presentation evening in the Travellers Inn recently.

Killian Hagan, left, and Finn Coll, who were both part of the Donegal Under 20 panel in 2024.

Killian Hagan and Finn Coll received acknowledgements for being part of the Donegal Under 20 side in 2024, while Rory O’Donnell was also recognised for being part of the Donegal Senior team who won the Ulster Championship this year.

Gavin Riney won Reserve Player of the Year after a string of strong performances in ‘24, while the talented Shane Black picked up the Under 21 Player of the year.

Anthony Curran had a very impressive season leading him to earn the Young Player of Year award, with Lorcan Friel deservedly winning the Player of the Year award, proudly presented to him by his father Fergus.

James Lynch picks up an appreciation award at the Milford GAA Presentation night.

There were also two Appreciation Awards for Anne Marie Hannigan and James Lynch for all their hard work over the course of the year.
