Friel goal helps Gaoth Dobhair defeat Glenswilly

Gaoth Dobhair will face Kilcar in tomorrow’s Senior Gaeltacht Final after they saw off Glenswilly in an entertaining game this evening.

Gaoth Dobhair led by 0-8 to 0-5 at the break.

Glenswilly had a bright start to the second half and drew level but Gaoth Dobhair pushed on after that with Niall Friel scoring a goal in the 51st minute.

Gary McDaid’s Glenswilly couldn’t claw back their deficit and the Maghergallon will be back in action in Falcarragh tomorrow at 4pm.
