DONEGAL goalkeeper Clare Friel didn’t play at underage level for her county but she is certainly making her mark now.
Friel dabbled in a bit of gaelic football during her teenage years but it was soccer that dominated her focus.
That has shifted now and she is currently the first-choice goalkeeper for Gaeil Fhánada and Donegal.

The 22-year-old is in her second year with the county panel and is loving every minute.
