Fresh appeal following two fatal collisions in Donegal

GARDAI in Donegal have renewed their appeal for information following two fatal collisions in the county over Christmas.
 
Shaun Kelly, a 33-year-old father of two lost his life in a car crash at Gortgrannagh, near Lifford in the early hours of St Stephen’s Day. The car, a blue Vauxhall Vectra, had been travelling from Porthall in the direction of Rossgier at the time. 
 
Gardaí in Letterkenny are appealing for  anyone who may have been in that area at the time and particularly anyone who has a dashcam and may be in a position to assist them with the investigation to contact them at Letterkenny Garda Station on 074 91 67100. 
 
Mother-of-one, Clarice Rice died when the car she was driving left the road at Drumfad Lower, Portsalon, at 11.30pm on Friday, December 28.
 
A male occupant in the car received treatment at Letterkenny University Hospital for non life threatening injuries.
