Mary Boyle went missing from her grandparents farm at Cashelard near Ballyshannon on the 18th of March 1977.

Earlier this month Mary’s sister Ann attended Pearse Street Garda Station along with the country singer Margo O’Donnell. Both made statements to gardai alleging the identity of Mary’s killer.

There have also been claims of political interference in the garda investigation in the 1970’s.

The matter was raised in the Dail by Deputy Thomas Pringle.
