RECOGNISING the important role of carers, Donegal Local Development Company Ltd. in association with Carers Association and the Health Service Executive is organising free events for unpaid carers in the county.
These events aim to provide carers with the opportunity to share their experiences and get to know others and will take place on Tuesday, June 17, from 10.30am – 3.30pm in Harvey’s Point Hotel, Donegal Town and Wednesday, June 18 from 10.30am – 3.30pm in the Silver Tassie Hotel, Letterkenny.
Carers will be treated to a ‘Health and Well Being’ seminar, lunch and a choice of therapies to relax and unwind. Carers in attendance will receive goodie bags kindly sponsored by McElhinney’s Department Store and Healthwise Pharmacies.
