Fraudster targeting Daniel fans following family bereavement

DANIEL O’DONNELL has shared a warning online after it emerged that a fake page posing as that of the performer has been messaging fans.

The scammer targeted people through the comment section of a recent post dedicated to Daniel’s mother-in-law, Marion who died last week.

“I just want to make you aware that under the post somebody has set up a fake page and is answering messages pretending that it’s me,” the singer said.

“I just want to let you know that I have not answered or messaged any of you back and I don’t want you to interact with this person in any way.

“It’s a fake page and there is no telling what this person might do.

Daniel added that he is worried his fans might be scammed if they interact with the fraudster.
