SPECULATION continues to grow this morning that  Independent Councillor Frank McBrearty will be added to the Fine Gael ticket for the upcoming local elections.

A decision on the move is believed to be imminent and it is understood Mr McBrearty has met with senior party officials on a number of occasions in recent days.

The Raphoe man previously represented Labour.
