Fr Brian is a star at ‘Cé Who Hi?’

POPULAR Gaoth Dobhair priest Fr Brian Ó Fearraigh won last weekend’s Stars In Your Eyes charity competition, Cé Who Hi?, at Aislann Rann na Feirste, with his brilliant performance as Tom Jones.

THERE was a full house in the on Friday and Saturday for the Ce Who Hi charity event as they community turned out in force to support the participants who all put on a fantastic show.

It was a stars in your eyes fundraiser and the demand was so high for tickets that organisers had to put on a second night. Over 300 people attended on Friday and 400 on Saturday.

The eventual winner was the fantastic Fr Brian Ó Fearraigh who performed as Tom Jones singing Delilah and It’s Not Unusual.

He was just brilliant and got a standing ovation after his first performance (Delilah).

Other highlights included Fr Pat Ward (Kincasslagh) as Christy Moore, performing ‘Ride On’ and ‘Don’t Forget Your Shovel’, and playing the guitar himself.

Other performances included ABBA, Elvis, Garth Brooks and Amy Winehouse and Lady Gaga, Dolly Parton and many more.

Maighread Hanlon and the famous Mary Aggie did a great job compering and entertaining the crowd.
