Raymond Foy has been appointed as the new First Team Manager of Strabane Athletic.
Foy joins with a wealth of experience after spells with Ballinamallard, Derry City and Finn Harps as a player as well as completing his UEFA B Licence and a part of the FAI Centre of Excellence Programme.
He managed Castlefin Celtic in the Donegal Junior League last season.
Foy had this to say about joining Strabane:
“I am delighted and privileged to have been appointed as Strabane Athletic First Team Manager. Having spoken with Seamus on numerous occasions I have been enthused by the infrastructure and vision of the club currently and into the future.
“For me the goal is simple to bring senior football to the Strabane area. I believe that by building and creating a culture of excellence within the senior setup and right across the club that this goal is achievable with the support of the people of the Strabane area.
“Work begins straight away on maintaining and improving the current squad to allow us the best opportunity to compete in the new season.”
