Four Masters 3-9 Gaoth Dobhair 1-7
Four Masters pulled off the upset of the weekend as they defeated Gaoth Dobhair by eight points at Tírconaill Park on Sunday.
The Donegal Town side led by 1-4 to 0-4 at the break with two points apiece from Joe Leape and Conor Reid, while Senan Carr hit the three pointer.
They were against the breeze in the second half but kept that lead before Killian Faulkner hit a second goal, although Daire Ó Baoill’s penalty instantly hit back for Gaoth Dobhair.
But Kevin Sinclair’s men continued to stay on top and were five points ahead when Alex McCalmont hit their third goal in added time.
