THE Four Masters club continues to enjoy great underage success, and they will be eyeing up another minor title when they meet Glenswilly in O’Donnell Park.
The Donegal Town club won their first minor title since 2007 last year when the delayed 2020 final was played.
They have been cleaning up at the younger age groups and have already captured the Under 15 title this season.
However, it can be more challenging when players reach the later teenage years and other distractions begin to become an issue.
That hasn’t been a problem for Four Masters and team manager Damien Dunnion is thrilled that the bulk of his side have stuck together the whole way up through the ranks.
“It is very pleasing that we have managed to keep this group together,” said Dunnion, who is joined in his management team by Declan Bushell, Shane Carr, Emmet Gallagher, Pauric Harvey, Michael Kilcoyne, Joyce McMullin, and Hugh McMenamin.
“There are any amount of teams that have been very good at Under 12 and Under 14 and dropped off after that.”
