Four Masters 4-10 Gaoth Dobhair 1-8
FOUR Masters blew away Gaoth Dobhair with early goals to reach the minor final with victory in MacCumhaill Park on Saturday.
The Donegal Town men hit two goals inside four minutes through Turlough Carr and Kevin Muldoon to set the tone, while they had the green flag raised for the third time on ten minutes through Oisin Doherty.
A 3-4 to 0-4 lead at the break saw them nearly home and hosed at half-time, but they added another goal through Doherty, who also kicked a number of frees.
Gaoth Dobhair got a goal of their own through Colm O’Dochartaigh who had a good game but it would only be a consolation.
Four Masters began at pace and Turlough Carr had the ball in the net after 40 seconds when he was played in and from the left he rifled the ball into the top corner.
