WELL-KNOWN YouTubers ‘Food Review Club’ recently paid a visit to the Four Lanterns in Donegal Town.
Since beginning the channel in 2018, fast-food lover Matt and his team have spent the last few years travelling around the UK and Ireland on the hunt for the “best of the best” the food industry has to offer.
But what did they think of our local delicacy, the humble Big Four?
In a video posted on Food Review Club’s Facebook this week, they can be seen visiting the Four Lanterns in Donegal Town.
Ordering a Big Four, some fried chicken, a cheesy chip and a strawberry milkshake, viewers anxiously awaited the brutally honest review.
“I’ve got a good feeling about this,” Matt told the camera man.
From the get go, a nice welcome from the team and the cleanliness of the shop set the Four Lanterns up for a positive review.
But what did Matt think of the food?
“I am a nervous wreck,” he said.
First, Matt sampled the taco chip.
“That is wildly good,” he said.
Next was the main event, the Big Four.
“That is way better than a Big Mac,” he said after taking his first bite.
“It is like a Big Mac with a life injection.
“The patties are nice, the sauce is good too, wow!” he said.
Finally, he washed it all down with a strawberry milkshake.
“The best ever,” he said.
“That is good.
“Cold, consistent and drinkable, it tastes like an Angel’s Delight.
“Four Lanterns, keep up the good work,” he concluded.
