THE Garda Watchdog received forty-four complaints from Donegal Division in an 11-month period this year.
Figures obtained by the Donegal News from the Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission (GSOC) for the period of January to November, 2024, reveal neglect of duty made up the majority of complaints (25), followed by non-fatal offence (eight complaints). Six complaints were lodged from Donegal Division in relation to abuse of authority.
