A former nursing home on the outskirts of Lifford has been placed on the property market.
Deeleside Nursing Home in Ballindrait once housed 27 residents across its 12 bedrooms. However it has been vacant for some time and according to estate agent Sherry Fitzgerald Rainey is in need of repair.
They have the property listed with an asking price of €150,000 and say it could be redeveloped for a number of uses, either commercial or residential.
“This is a former nursing home comprising 12 bedrooms and four receptions extending to 690 square metres,” said a spokesperson.
“The original house is stone built and in need of extensive refurbishment works.
“The building has been extended over the years at various stages and would suit a wide range of uses to include residential home, care home, rehabilitation centre, offices, nursery/creche, subject to planning permission.”
