held such pain,
That salty tears, the face does surely stain,
Sitting here, now, we cry aloud for aid,
Afraid somehow their memory would fade,
Úna, Ciara and Saoirse, taken from us in a flash,
Leaving sorrow that no earthly soap can wash,
The emptiness is vast, more than we can feel,
The suffering is cruel, the agony real,
In the midst of it all, humanity shows its heart,
Friend and stranger are one, no more apart,
As in a common cry of grief, all of us unite,
Somehow amidst tears, love does ignite,
Úna, Ciara, Saoirse, you draw love from all,
In life and in death, true love is your call,
Pointing to a deep reality beyond the cross,
The painful reality, that
is in our loss.”
