Football match raises €19,000 for Letterkenny hospital

TWO companies have joined forces to raise almost €20,000 for Letterkenny University Hospital.

Doctor Khan, head of the Paediatric Department , and staff from the Paediatrics Ward in the hospital recently accepted a donation for €19,000 to benefit patients and their families.

The donation was from local businesses Boyle Construction and O’Hara & Harrison Electrical Contractors.

The funds were raised through sponsorship from a friendly football tournament between the two local businesses, which was held at the Aura Leisure Centre, Letterkenny, in August 2025.

LUH extends heartfelt thanks to both companies and everyone who contributed for their incredible generosity in supporting the Paediatric Ward at the hospital.
