Five star Termon too good for Aodh Ruadh

Termon ladies were clinical and too good for a battling Aodh Ruadh side in the Division 1 final in MacCumhaill Park.

Termon got off to the perfect start as Geraldine McLaughlin hit the net after 60 seconds, and she went on to set up Ciara McGarvey and Maeve Brady twice as they hit four goals in the first half.

Aodh Ruadh hit two of their own through Gillian Dufficy, one from the penalty spot and the second a minute later, but they were still 4-9 to 2-2 behind at the break.

McLaughlin extended her tally to 1-7 in the second half and Jodie McFadden hit a fifth goal in the final minute as Adrian and Kevin McGettigan’s side were worthy winners.
