If you were throwing a party and you could invite anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would you ask around? Famous person, it would be Beyoncé. To see her dance live would be insane! In saying that, our team could never throw a party without wanting Laura Gallagher there, our LG.

Where do you like to go out to celebrate after a big victory? It would have to be the local Wilkins bar in Churchill, Victor loves to see us dancing on the chairs!

What’s the worst pitch you’ve ever played on? Probably Dungloe.

Which character in any film are you most like? A few of us on the team like to go by the ‘Flossy Possy’, so maybe any of those from the film Girls Trip!

Any odd items in your kit bag? Holy medal, always. But I have to say in almost every Glen woman’s kit bag, you’re guaranteed to find uddermint cream!

Who’s the biggest joker in the team you play for? It would have to be Niamh Devine, you never know what she’ll come out with next!

Which team mate has the best looking other half? I’d be in bother if I didn’t say our own main man Peadar Toner, Sinead wouldn’t be too happy otherwise!

Who is the worst/best trainer? There are a lot, but I would have to say Orla Mc Bride. She gives 110% in every drill. Worst trainer I’d say is Grace Broderick, I nearly forget what she looks like at this stage lol.

Who spends most time in front of the mirror in the dressing room? Honestly, any of our younger girls. You’re guaranteed to find hairspray alongside various hair brushes in their kit bags, definitely not uddermint!

Who’s the best/worst person to sit beside on the team bus? To be honest, they’re not a bad bunch. You could sit anywhere and you’re guaranteed a good chat and a laugh.

Who has the best and who has the worst diet on the team, and what does it include? A great diet wouldn’t be a popular topic of conversation among us ladies. The worst diet would probably be me to be honest, I’ll never miss an opportunity for a Chinese!

Toughest opponent you have faced? Recently, I’d have to say Niamh Boyle from St Naul’s. Once her legs start, they don’t stop!

Best or worst quote you’ve heard, either from a manager, player, opponent? Our manager Peadar Toner asking us to ‘hit the paint’ among many other mighty one liners would be up there, as well as our previous manager David Mc Ginley roaring ‘thatta girl’ and ‘play with no fear’. Those words always got us hyped.

Best manager you’ve ever played under? We’ve been blessed with some brilliant managers over the years, any manager taking us dolls on deserves a medal!

Best ever performance? To keep it recent, I’d have to say our League semi-final a few weeks ago against St Naul’s. Every single player played their heart out. We had great pride in ourselves as a team that night.

One to forget? It would have to be our League Final last year, it was a hard one to swallow.

Sporting ambition? Hopefully win Junior A championship this year. That feeling would be unbelievable.

When you were playing in the back garden, who did you pretend to be? I always wanted to be a midfielder like Neil Gallagher. I strived to be able to catch the high balls in the middle, just like him.

If you were in charge of transfers, who’d be in and who’d be out of the team? You’ve probably heard us Glen folk can be a bit clannish, so the only transfer I’d be willing to do would be getting our LG back from Oz!
