Any odd items in your kit bag? Usually keep a tub of Vick’s vaporub.
Who’s the biggest joker in the team you play for? Eddie O’Reilly.
Who is the worst/best trainer? Best: Keelin McElwaine, he never misses a session. Worst: Carlos O’Reilly, he’s a hard man to get to training.
Who spends most time in front of the mirror in the dressing room? That’s definitely either Arthur Lynch or Oisin Langan.
Who’s the best/worst person to sit beside on the team bus? Worst: Ethan Ferry, he’s a wild chatter. Best: Any of the older boys always have a few good stories.
Who has the best and who has the worst diet on the team, and what does it include? Best: Dec McGavey and Dec O’Donnell keep themselves in good nick. Worst: Not sure, but my own diet wasn’t great over Christmas so I’ll say myself.
Toughest opponent you have faced? James Henry for Greencastle couple of years in the cup, couldn’t get near him.
Best or worst quote you’ve heard, either from a manager, player, opponent? Back in the Dunfanaghy youths days Dave Rutland would come in at half-time of every game and tell us that ‘it was the best half of football he’d watched us play all year’ no matter if we were winning or losing.
Best manager you’ve ever played under? Arthur Lynch and Paul Nash.
Best ever performance? Cup final we won for Dunfanaghy youths against Swilly back in U18s
One to forget? Losing a two goal lead in an all Ireland semi for PCC.
Sporting ambition? Win FAI junior cup with Fanad would be massive.
When you were playing in the back garden, who did you pretend to be? Ronaldo.
If you were in charge of transfers, who’d be in and who’d be out of the team? It’s a good group so I wouldn’t get rid of anyone. I would get Kyle McGarvey back up from Galway.
