Team: Bonagee ladies

If you were throwing a party and you could invite anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would you ask around? Suppose it would have to be the Termon ladies and the Bonagee ladies. Would be an eventful night I can imagine.

Where do you like to go out to celebrate after a big victory? Dry Arch for a few before heading to the big smoke.

What’s the worst pitch you’ve ever played on?
Great pitches the last few years. Kilmac pitch wasn’t great years ago.

Which character in any film are you most like?
I’m told I’m like Merida out of Brave. Think she’s a bit of a cool character or even a bit feisty.

Any odd items in your kit bag? Nope.

Who’s the biggest joker in the team you play for?
Alice Diver. Anyone that knows Alice will know. I don’t think I have to explain.

Which team mate has the best looking other half?
Julie. Julie likes to show him off to everyone especially when he’s in uniform.

Who is the worst/best trainer? Big effort put in this year by everyone including management. Claire Orr, Niamh McCarthy and Siobhan Sweeney are hard to keep up with, speed machines.

Who spends most time in front of the mirror in the dressing room?
After a team bbq we had this year, the young ones on the team take a brave while.

Who’s the best/worst person to sit beside on the team bus?
We don’t have many bus trips but Chantelle Grant is great for the motivational chat.

Who has the best and who has the worst diet on the team, and what does it include?
Denies McElhinney has a seriously clean diet – sickens me with her healthy snaps. I probably have the worst, love a midweek Chinese.

Toughest opponent you have faced?
Paula McGrory.. Fast, skilful and accurate.

Best or worst quote you’ve heard, either from a manager, player, opponent?
“Those who think they can and those who think the can’t are both usually right.”

Best manager you’ve ever played under?
I have been so lucky through the years with managers. My dad was probably the toughest but I have forgiven him since. He got us some amount of silverware.

Best ever performance? All-Ireland semi final for the school. I was lucky not to get sent to the line. We went on then to win the All-Ireland that year.

Sporting ambition? To win the league this year.

When you were playing in the back garden, who did you pretend to be?
David Beckham. Think everyone back then idolised him. Especially us girls.

If you were in charge of transfers, who’d be in and who’d be out of the team?
Happy out with the squad this year. There are a few of the Termon gaelic players I wouldn’t mind having by my side.
