Occupation: Student

Team: Clg Na Dúnaibh

If you were throwing a party and you could invite anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would you ask around? I would have to invite Dan Bilzerian, the man seems like he knows how to party. And Gary Óg would be good for a few rebel songs late on.

Where do you like to go out to celebrate after a big victory?

The Wee Bar in Downings, although you could be likely to see McGroddy or Fenny with their tops off…

What’s the worst pitch you’ve ever played on?

Urris or Newtown.

Which character in any film are you most like?

Ryan Gosling in Gangster Squad

Any odd items in your kit bag?

None

What’s your preferred brand of gear?
Adidas boots, Murphy’s gloves, and skins.

Who’s the biggest joker in the team you play for?
Colin Gallagher, even though he laughs at all his own jokes. And his laugh is as bad as Kevin McGee’s shooting.

Which team mate has the best looking other half?
Luke McBride, he is on dates in Belfast with her every week.

Who is the worst trainer?

Either Ben McBride or Oisin Boyce, the Hughies rarely train…

Who spends most time in front of the mirror in the dressing room?
Oisin Boyce, he has to put so much effort into the tiny bit of hair he is holding on to!

Who’s the best/worst person to sit beside on the team bus?
Ben Mc Nutt is always good for a bit of craic!

Who has the best and who has the worst diet on the team, and what does it include?
It’s close between Brendan McGee and Kevin ‘Gooch’ Doherty. The two of them love a takeaway. I’ve seen McGee have a dessert before breakfast so he wins.

Toughest opponent you have faced?
Kieran Gillespie

Best or worst quote you’ve heard, either from a manager, player, opponent?

I hate when people pull out of tackles so I always liked: “You have more chance of getting hurt if you pull out.”

Best manager you’ve ever played under?
Declan Scott many moons ago – the man was an inspiration.

Best ever performance?

Ulster semi-final vs Antrim 2014.

One to forget?
All-Ireland Minor Final.

Sporting ambition?

Win an All-Ireland medal.

When you were playing in the back garden, who did you pretend to be?

Peter Canavan or the Gooch! Paul Scholes the odd day I scored a screamer.

If you were in charge of transfers, who’d be in and who’d be out of the team?
No-one out, Tony McClenaghan in.
