Occupation: Student

Team: Naomh Muire

If you were throwing a party and you could invite anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would you ask around?

I’d definitely have Conor McGregor, Will Ferrell for a laugh and Robbie O’Donnell because the sky is the limit with that man!

Where do you like to go out to celebrate after a big victory?
Sharkey’s is the place to be after a good win!

What’s the worst pitch you’ve ever played on?
Dungloe

Which character in any film are you most like?
A few say I’m like Stiffler, don’t know where that comes from.

Any odd items in your kit bag?
Nothing too extreme, the odd rotten banana would be the height of it.

Who’s the biggest joker in the team you play for? Has to be Shaun ‘the Yank’ – he’s full of the giggles all the time!

Which team mate has the best looking other half?
I better not answer that, could get me in a bit of bother! There are a few worldies though.

Who is the worst/best trainer? Best trainer has to be Adam O Brien, there’s no stopping the man in the running he just loves it. The worst would probably Shaun ‘the Yank’ when the training gets a bit hectic, the hamstring always gets tight!

Who spends most time in front of the mirror in the dressing room?
Adi O’Gara is cat for it, hard to get him away from it.

Who’s the best/worst person to sit beside on the team bus?
The best would be Jamie Boyle, not many stories that man doesn’t know. The worst would be Adam O’Brien, the big long legs are all over the place when he’s on the bus.

Who has the best and who has the worst diet on the team, and what does it include?
The best diet would be Paddy McCafferty, he always looks after himself. Brian Gillespie doesn’t do the healthy eating craic – he just plays, he’s proper old school.

Toughest opponent you have faced? Eoghan McGettigan

Best or worst quote you’ve heard, either from a manager, player, opponent? “It doesn’t matter how bad a game you’re having, the least you can do work hard and put in a good hit”- Owenie McGarvey

Best manager you’ve ever played under?
Gary Boyle

Best ever performance?
Against Maynooth this year for the college.

One to forget? Against St Naul’s in the Under 21 county semi final last year, absolute stinker.

Sporting ambition?
Win a Championship with Naomh Muire.

When you were playing in the back garden, who did you pretend to be?
Owenie McGarvey or the Gooch, they were the two men I looked up to.

If you were in charge of transfers, who’d be in and who’d be out of the team?

Diarmuid Connolly would be handy to have out around the middle! I wouldn’t get rid of any of the lads. They’re all good lads.
