Name: Corey McBride Gillen
Age: 18
Occupation: Student
Team: Raphoe Town
If you were throwing a party and you could invite anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would you ask around? Have to be Evan Breen or Joe Weller.
Where do you like to go out to celebrate after a big victory? Friel’s Bar for a few pints
What’s the worst pitch you’ve ever played on? Swilly Rovers’ pitch. Was up there this year, it was a swamp.
Which character in any film are you most like? Ross from Friends
Any odd items in your kit bag? Three pairs of boots when I only need the one pair.
Who’s the biggest joker in the team you play for? There’s a few now but it has to be Keelin Bogle couldn’t take anything he says serious.
Which team mate has the best looking other half? I wouldn’t be too sure but there’s definitely no bad ones anyway. Fair play lads.
Who is the worst/best trainer? The best would have to go to David Craig and the worst would be Roy Duffy
Who spends most time in front of the mirror in the dressing room? The captain Christy Bogle would you believe loves quiffing up his hair after a fresh cut before a game
Who’s the best/worst person to sit beside on the team bus? The best would probably be Keelin Bogle. He would have the whole bus scoffed before we left.
Who has the best and who has the worst diet on the team, and what does it include? David Craig would have the best and DJ Kelly with the worst he loves sweets and Boost.
Toughest opponent you have faced? Hearts in the Foyle Cup final a few years ago. They had a quality right back and one of the best centre midfielders I’ve seen.
Best or worst quote you’ve heard, either from a manager, player, opponent? It was school football we lost on penalties to Milford and our manager told the ref he didn’t want extra-time because he had ‘class to go to’. Couldn’t believe it.
Best manager you’ve ever played under? I wouldn’t have a favourite. I have played under some brilliant ones for every club I have been with
Best ever performance? The School Ulster Final back in 2015 we were 4-1 down at one stage after half-time, and I scored two after it went 4-2. Then we went on to win it 5-4.
One to forget? Playing with Trojans against Dergview, it was my first time playing left-back and I had a shocker of a first half. I would say Mark Begley remembers that one well.
Sporting ambition? To take Raphoe to the Premier Division
When you were playing in the back garden, who did you pretend to be? Ronaldo when he was at United probably.
If you were in charge of transfers, who’d be in and who’d be out of the team? I would take out Conor Friel and replace him with two flyers, Tj Gibson and Curtis Friel
