Occupation: Claims Analyst – Optum Ireland

Team: Letterkenny Rovers

If you were throwing a party and you could invite anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would you ask around? Georgie Best and he could come play for us too the next morning half cut.

Where do you like to go out to celebrate after a big victory? The Central Bar or the Brewery normally.

What’s the worst pitch you’ve ever played on? Glenea last year was horrific.. The ball was getting stuck all over the pitch

Which character in any film are you most like?
I’d like to think Stiffler from American Pie but if you ask some of the boys I’m sure they would say more like McLovin from Superbad….

Any odd items in your kit bag? No, just all the essentials.

Who’s the biggest joker in the team you play for? Macca is always good for a joke or two, constantly on the wind up.

Which team mate has the best looking other half?
Most of us are single, but I think the boys are scared to introduce anyone to us when Stevie is around, that man is a destroyer…

Who is the worst/best trainer?
Paul McVeigh would be the worst because he never has a clue what is going on, but I’ve seen him do some extra runs here and there so I’ll let him off.

Who spends most time in front of the mirror in the dressing room?
Kevin McGrath always has the shockwaves out 5 minutes before kick off, spice boy.

Who’s the best/worst person to sit beside on the team bus?
Worst is 100% Dan O’Donnell. If he’s not chatting rubbish, he has the tongue hanging out sleeping and drooling all over himself, could do with a bib. Best is Odhran McMacken to have a wee chat about how good Salah was the day before for Liverpool.

Who has the best and who has the worst diet on the team, and what does it include?
I’d say the best diet would be Ryan Gildea the man is in some nick! Worst possibly is Ryan McConnell – he eats kebabs for breakfast.

Toughest opponent you have faced?
There’s a few: Will Hughes (Watford)/ Charly Musonda Jr (Chelsea) / Andreas Perreria (United)

Best or worst quote you’ve heard, either from a manager, player, opponent?
Eamon is always great for a quote or two but the best I heard was in the tunnel before our U19 All Ireland final for Derry City – Ronan Curtis shouted let’s go today boys get the 3 points….

Best manager you’ve ever played under?
I owe a lot to Anthony Gorman for my development from the age of 8 right until now. I’ve worked with him and he has helped me a lot. Also Eamon as he has helped me to understand what is required at senior level and I appreciate that a lot too. I must also mention Paul Doolin.

Best ever performance?
When I captained the U18s versus Wales a couple years ago. Everything I tried came off and we won 3-2

One to forget?
Slipping in the box versus Derry two years ago in the League Cup last minute to let their striker in and put us out at the semi finals.

Sporting ambition?
Play at the highest level that I can reach and win as many trophies as I can along the way.

When you were playing in the back garden, who did you pretend to be? Steven Gerrard is my footballing hero – what a striker of the ball!!

If you were in charge of transfers, who’d be in and who’d be out of the team?
I’d sell Conor Tourish to Barcelona for about 50 million I’d say & I’d sign Moe Friel to replace him. (Double town 7 a side champ for a reason)
