If you were throwing a party and you could invite anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would you ask around?
Kevin Hart would be unbelievable craic!
Where do you like to go out to celebrate after a big victory?
The Grill on a Sunday night, couldn’t beat it!
What’s the worst pitch you’ve ever played on?
Swilly Park or Hegarty Park in Ballybofey.
Which character in any film are you most like?
Denzel Washington
Any odd items in your kit bag?
A bottle opener, never know when you’re going to need it…
What’s your preferred brand of gear?
Adidas
Who’s the biggest joker in the team you play for?
Dan O’Donnell, you never know what he’s going to come out with.
Which team mate has the best looking other half?
Paul McVeigh’s woman is decent, but you couldn’t tell him that.
Who is the worst trainer?
Ryan Lonergan, pulls out as soon as we get to the running part.
Who spends most time in front of the mirror in the dressing room?
Eamon McConigley loves a good grooming now, the comb is never far away keeping that moustache in tip-top shape
Who’s the best/worst person to sit beside on the team bus?
Best would be Kevin O’Donnell as he barely takes up any room. The worst would be Kevin McGrath as he never stops chatting rubbish.
Who has the best and who has the worst diet on the team, and what does it include?
Well I couldn’t be far from the worst myself and I’d say Rory Kelly eats well because he thinks he’s a baller and all that..
Toughest opponent you have faced?
Jack Byrne for Manchester City, can’t get near the kid.
Best or worst quote you’ve heard, either from a manager, player, opponent?
Worst quote would’ve been “give the ball to Dan!”. Liam O’Donnell used to shout it at us when we were young. Doesn’t shout it anymore though…
Best manager you’ve ever played under?
Joe Boyle is probably the best. Got the best out of me and takes no crap. Helped me a lot from when I was younger.
Best ever performance?
Playing against Wales for Ireland. Scored and did well.
One to forget?
There’s been many to forget. Last season in the cup final I didn’t play great and was disappointed
When you were playing in the back garden, who did you pretend to be?
I used to pretend I was so many players like Thierry Henry, Cristiano Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, and Messi.
If you were in charge of transfers, who’d be in and who’d be out of the team?
I would sign Ryan McConnell, unreal on the wing and can play anywhere at the back. I’d also sign Gary Merritt, loved playing alongside him in my first season at Harps. He’s quality.
