If you were throwing a party and you could invite anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would you ask around?
For the year that’s coming up… Michael Collins. Or Rebel Wilson aka Fat Amy from Pitch Perfect! In the sporting world, Messi or Suarez, as long as he wasn’t hungry!

Where do you like to go out to celebrate after a big victory?
For a feed! I like to go out in Ardara. There’s usually a festival of some sort and a good crowd around!

What’s the worst pitch you’ve ever played on?
No comment. Although we played in Dungloe two weekends ago and one of the girls went over on her ankle and the Senior men played last weekend and my brother went over on his!

Which character in any film are you most like?
Shrek! Or Fat Amy from Pitch Perfect.

Any odd items in your kit bag?
Rosary beads.

What’s your preferred brand of gear?
No preference- no sponsorship contracts yet!

Who’s the biggest joker in the team you play for?

Not me!

Which team mate has the best looking other half?
Can I pick myself?! Ah no comment, I wouldn’t like to start WW3!

Who is the worst trainer?

Meentin loves the good tough training session!

Who spends most time in front of the mirror in the dressing room?
Don’t have any mirrors but if we had that would be Stephanie.

Who’s the best/worst person to sit beside on the team bus?
Sharon for all the Goss! Stephanie for the selfies!

Who has the best and who has the worst diet on the team, and what does it include?
I think Lara likes the Salmon steaks… not sure for eating or to use as an ice-pack! (If only her mum was a doctor!) I’d say Ciara eats healthy too as she is a physio. Not sure who has the worst diet, maybe the college girls are living on noodles and take-aways!

Toughest opponent you have faced?
Aoife Watters (Ard a’ Rátha) and Therese McCafferty (Termon) – sticky and annoying!

Best or worst quote you’ve heard, either from a manager, player, opponent?

‘Physical bruises will heal in a few days but if we lose it will last a lot longer’. The old reliable: ‘Let’s get stuck in from the word go’. The classic ‘Take off that number 16 jersey ref.’

Best manager you’ve ever played under?
All! Joe and Steven are doing a great job this year. Longest manager is easily James McBrearty- around 14 years!!

Best ever performance?

None stick out. Scoring 1-10 in the County Final was one of the highlights.

One to forget?
The following league match in Dungloe! I was dreadful; We won in the end. Gaeltacht Semi-Final in Ardara v Glenties.

When you were playing in the back garden, who did you pretend to be?
That’s easy. My uncle, Martin Gavigan aka Rambo or his brother Luke cause he was a ‘stylish forward!’

If you were in charge of transfers who’d be in and who’d be out of the team?

Haha, can’t say who’d be out. I’d like Yvonne McMonagle and Karen Guthrie from Glenfin and if they had fuel allowance Geraldine McLoughlin and Therese McCafferty from Termon. We might take Aoife Mac also!
