Victory or defeat it’s usually the Fanad Lodge.

Definitely Pettigo

John McClean- always getting hurt.

Nothing really.

Who’s the biggest joker in the team you play for? Fergal ‘Sharky’ Friel always has something funny to say.

Few boys punching above their weight but I better not say who.


Who is the worst/best trainer?
Worst: Darren Mc Elwaine/Patsy Friel – they never make training. Best: Probably Jimmy Coyle when it’s not a Bank Holiday weekend.

Who spends most time in front of the mirror in the dressing room? Eoghan Carr when he was rocking the mullet, never could get him to stop looking at himself.


Who’s the best/worst person to sit beside on the team bus?
Best: Paddy Carr or Brandon McClafferty. Worst: Joe Blaney he nearly needs another seat for all of the food he eats.


Who has the best and who has the worst diet on the team, and what does it include?
Worst has to be Darren McElwaine and Brandon McClafferty, both have bottle of coke and a bar every lunch break. Best: Michael Sweeney or Seamus Coyle


Toughest opponent you have faced?
Jason McGee or Enda McCormick were hard to stop growing up.

Best manager you’ve ever played under? Paddy Shiels. Legend


Best ever performance?
Under 15 final against Glenswilly in Milford, best team performance we ever played.

One to forget? Far too many at the minute.

Sporting ambition? Win the Intermediate Championship and get out of Division 3.


When you were playing in the back garden, who did you pretend to be?
Wayne Rooney.


If you were in charge of transfers, who’d be in and who’d be out of the team?
I’d bring back Fergus Friel. A big loss to the team. I’d keep everyone, need all the players we can get.
