The GAA announced on Wednesday that Harvey Norman is to become their new official Statistics Sponsor in an agreement that will run for a three-year term from 2024 to 2026.
What exactly their remit is in a world where GAA sides yearn for privacy remains to be seen but it would be most welcome if more detailed analysis was forthcoming.
Perhaps this is a key step towards a GAA version of Opta Stats but for the moment, we will have to be content with an assessment from the humble naked eye.
