Finn Harps U15 3-1 Derry City U15
Finn Harps under 15s scored two late goals to defeat their local rivals Derry City 3-1 at the Letterkenny Community Centre yesterday.
Goals from Ronan Buchanan and Conor McGranaghan in the 88th and 90th minute gave David McHugh’s side the win in style.
Buchanan’s chip late on sent the young Harps team into euphoria and they soon sealed the win when McGranaghan’s cross went all the way in.
The cross was a second time in the game the ball missed everyone and went into the net as Eamonn McBride’s equaliser came in the same form as his free kick from near the halfway line bounced into the top corner to cancel out Gavin Friel’s opener for Derry.
