Finn Harps return to winning ways against Cobh

Finn Harps 2 Cobh Ramblers 0

Finn Harps got back to winning ways with a well-deserved win over Cobh Ramblers at Finn Park.

A scoreless first half in an even game, it took until the hour mark to break the deadlock as Success Edogun found Ferry and his effort towards the near corner found the net.

The Harps doubled their lead as Max Johnston’s cross to the back post found Jamie Watson and the Scottish defender poked home to seal the win.

The result sees Darren Murphy’s side leapfrog Cobh in the table into sixth place, six points off the final play-off spot.
