Finn Harps look to spoil Athlone’s party

FINN Harps interim manager Darren Murphy is hoping to spoil Athlone Town’s play-off party when they come to Finn Park on Saturday (kick-off 2.30pm).

Athlone occupy the final play-off spot ahead of the penultimate game of the season and are two points ahead of Treaty United who are home to Galway United.

So a win for The Town would almost guarantee their spot in the top five.

The Harps are 13 points behind Saturday’s opponent’s and look unlikely to move from ninth place.
