Finn Harps were defeated by Premier Division side Sligo Rovers in their final pre-season friendly in the Showgrounds.
The Bit O’Red hit their first after six minutes through Conor Malley, although they should have been further ahead at the break, while Finn Harps had one good chance in the opening 45 minutes through a trialist.
Burnfoot native Gareth McElroy headed home within a minute of the restart, while Sligo hit two goals in a minute after the hour mark through Francely Lomboto and Cian Kavanagh to seal the win.
The Harps used three trialists over the 90 minutes but overall the home side were full value for their win.
