Finn Harps have been drawn away to Cork City in the 2nd round draw of the 2024 FAI Cup.
Darren Murphy’s side will travel to face the First Division leaders in Turners Cross on the weekend of July 19/20/21.
It’s not an ideal draw for the Donegal men as they are away to Cork in the league the Friday before the cup weekend.
Finn Harps still have to face Cork City away twice in the league as they agreed to reverse an away fixture when Turners Cross was not fit for use.
The pair have played at Finn Park twice this year, with a Jack Doherty penalty salvaging a draw for Cork in the first home game of the season after Success Edogun scored the opener.
More recently, Cork took a 2-0 win in Ballybofey with goals from Simon Murray and Jaden Umeh.
Meanwhile, FAI Junior Cup champions Cockhill Celtic will be away to Premier Division side Waterford United.
A Dublin Derby was first out of the draw as Bohemians host Shamrock Rovers, while Drogheda United are at home to rivals Dundalk.
Current holders St Patrick’s Athletic are away to Derry City.
