Finn Harps 1 Cobh Ramblers 2
A late controversial Cobh penalty meant Finn Harps suffered a fourth defeat in five league games.
It was a bright start from the Harps, as Patrick Ferry opened the scoring after getting on the end of a Gavin Hodgins cross on seven minutes.
But Cobh responded just before the half an hour mark from a Shane Griffin corner that bobbled around and Barry Coffey was on hand to poke home from close range.
Chances were few in the second half but Cobh went ahead through a controversial penalty shout as Cian Murphy went down in the box. It was Murphy who stepped up and sent David Aziaya the wrong way, finding the bottom right corner.
The Harps had a late chance to equalise through Max Johnston but Timothy Martin made a good save as the Cork side held on.
