By Eoghan O’Boyle

Today is the last day to get your hands on O’Reilly’s newest release in memory of Christian McCullagh, the 17 year old Raphoe resident who tragically passed away earlier this month.

The much loved Deele College student has now been commemorated by a limited edition jersey released by O’Reilly Sports which was announced on Wednesday, September 17.

The late Christian McCullagh.

The jersey is a touching tribute to Christian’s love of cars, sporting a beautiful, yellow Mustang on its grey front with an image of 2023’s Bear Run 74 lying in wait at the run’s start line in Derry on the back, accompanied by a quote that reads “DON’T DREAM IT, DRIVE IT” both details are a nod to the Bear Run 74, which features on the jersey’s crest.

On both sleeves of the jersey is the yellow ribbon for children’s cancer accompanied by Christians name and “2008-2025” to represent his 17 wonderful years.

O’Reilly’s are also offering the option of adding a person’s initials to the kit for an extra €2.50.

Bear Run 74 is a foundation that raises money to fight cancer that, to date, has raised €206,136 for 22 different charities and have delivered 5,000 toys to sick children in hospital at Christmas.

The Bear Run 74 have continued their great work with this new collaboration which truly touches the heart with its message and will, no doubt, commemorate Christian everyday through the people who will wear the jersey in the years to come.
