Tasked with making a documentary while undergoing a Masters in University College London, Siobhan wanted to give the crumbling homeowners of Donegal a voice.

Reaching out to Paddy Diver and Roisín Gallagher to start with, Siobhan wanted to collect as many voices as possible.

“I came over to my parents’ place in Inishowen with only two or so people lined up to interview, but it kind of just snowballed from there.

“I put a Tweet out and quite a lot of people came forward.

“In the end I think I spoke to around 30 people.

“In that sense it was amazing all the people coming forward,” she said.

Siobhan described the filming process as being “emotional”.

“Everyone I met was so open and so ready to be emotional and vulnerable with me.

“I am a complete stranger that turned up with a little camera kit.

“Everyone was so brave and honest and I am just in awe of everyone who spoke with me,” she said.
