Intruders gained access through the roof in an overnight raid at a filling station outside Termon last night.
An investigation has been launched after Sweeney’s filling station in Termon was broken into overnight. Gardai have confirmed that the intruders gained access through the roof of the property, following various attempts to break in through other entries. It is understood a considerable amount of damage was caused and many items were stolen.
While other similar incidents have occurred across the county in recent months where intruders have gained access to businesses via the roof, Gardai cannot confirm if the incidents are linked, at this time.
Any one with information, or anyone who was in the area between 10:30pm and 4am last night, is advised to contact Milford Garda Station on 0749153060.
