THE most disadvantaged of Donegal’s 175 primary schools will be hardest hit following the swingeing education cuts in this month’s budget.
As many as 50 teaching jobs could be lost in the county as a result of the cumulative affects of the proposed changes in primary schools.
The county has seven designated disadvantaged DEIS (Delivering Equality of Opportunity in Schools) schools and a large number of small schools which will be hardest hit.
