Ferry’s Refuse employee claims he dumped illegal waste

Letterkenny-courthouse

LENGTHY legal argument took place this morning in the court case against Ferry’s Refuse for illegal dumping, after an employee of the company walked into court and handed in a letter saying he was responsible for the illegal dumping.

Mr Jim Ferry of Rossbracken, Manorcunningham, faces nine charges relating to the alleged illegal disposal of household waste at Doire Uí Fríll, Falcarragh, on June 10, 2010.

Judge Paul Kelly is hearing the case in Letterkenny District Court in which the court was shown video recordings made by Donegal County Council’s Waste Enforcement Officer, Mr Dearn McClintock, who was taken to the isolated location by an anonymous member of the public.
